The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

Description: This program distributes USDA food to eligible households in Kent County. The food is distributed quarterly through county wide distribution sites. Depending on what food items are available to us from the USDA, the distribution may consist of canned and frozen meat, canned vegetables, dry milk, peanut butter, vegetable oil and/or cereal.

Eligibility:

  • Household income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines. To see if you’re eligible, click here >
